The 2026 Safety Emergency Rescue Robot Competition Creative Category Wuxi Station was successfully held at Hikvision Micro Special Robot Science and Technology Park.
On 8/16, the Creative Competition of the Year 2026 Safety Emergency Rescue Robot Contest (Wuxi Station) concluded successfully at Hikvision Group's Micro-Special Robot Science and Technology Innovation Park. This event brought together stakeholders from industry, academia, and research to focus on technological innovation and practical implementation in emergency rescue. It was jointly organized by the University of Emergency Management, Guangdong Academy of Sciences Association, Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Group, and Shenzhen Public Welfare Rescue Volunteer Federation. The contest received exclusive sponsorship from Shenzhen Hwa Bao New Energy Co., Ltd. As a co-organizer and provider of the general platform for the "Fire Source Location and Trapped Person Search" and "Underwater Precision Location and Buoyancy Rescue" categories, Hikvision Group provided comprehensive support throughout the event, enabling collaborative exploration of practical application directions for safety emergency rescue robots.

The Wuxi leg of this competition's Innovation Challenge featured 7 outstanding innovation teams competing head-to-head through a hybrid online and offline format, fostering dynamic idea exchange. Teams shared innovative and practical technical solutions across multiple dimensions, including robot structural design, environmental perception algorithms, human-robot collaboration strategies, end-to-end rescue efficiency optimization, and team composition. These contributions showcased the vibrant innovation within the field of emergency response robotics. This competition invited 5 experts fromUniversity of Emergency Management, Research Center of Ministry of Emergency Management, Guangdong Academy of Science and Technology for Safety Production and Emergency Management, Shenzhen Public Welfare Rescue TeamIndustry veterans served as judges, evaluating and scoring the competing proposals on-site across multiple dimensions including scenario fit, technological innovation, implementation feasibility, and security reliability. They not only affirmed the innovative approaches of each team but also provided optimization guidance based on real-world emergency rescue needs, helping teams refine their solutions and enhance their technologies.
