Important Notice: Registration Deadline Extension and Schedule Update for the 2026 Safety Emergency Rescue Robot Competition – Guangzhou
Since the launch of the National Safety Emergency Rescue Robot Competition in 2026, it has garnered widespread attention and strong support from universities, research institutions, and industry enterprises nationwide. To date, over 20 institutions and numerous companies have registered to participate. As the competition's influence continues to grow, the Organizing Committee extends its sincere gratitude to all involved.
Due to recent extreme weather conditions, including prolonged heavy rainfall in the Guangzhou area, construction of the competition course and testing venues has been delayed from the original schedule. To ensure venue quality and participant experience, and to guarantee that all teams compete in a safe, standardized, and fair environment, the Organizing Committee has decided to adjust the registration deadline and competition schedule as follows:
I. Registration deadline extended
The registration deadline has been extended to 2026/7/15. The organizing committee will reopen the registration email starting on 7/1 to continue accepting application materials from participating teams. Teams interested in competing are encouraged to complete their registration as soon as possible.
II. Adjustment of Proposal Review and Pitching Schedule
Proposal review period adjusted to:
From 2026 7 to 7, 29.
Roadshow time adjusted to:
From 2026 7 to 8, 6.
III. Rescheduled Time for Test Match
To ensure all participating teams have sufficient time for testing and debugging, the test events will be held in batches as follows:
First Batch: 2026-7-31 to 8-1
Batch 2: 2026/8/7 to 8/8
Third Batch: 2026/8/14 to 8/15
Batch 4: 2026/8/21 – 2026/8/22
